(01) · The origin

We did everything the careers office told us to do.

Two Master's degrees between us, from a top-tier UK university.

Stacks of applications. The same auto-rejection emails everyone else is getting.

In the UK in 2026, it is easier to build your own company than to get hired by one.

No VC money. No accelerator. No rich uncle. Just two people who decided that building was a better bet than applying.

In the UK in 2026, it's easier to build your own company than to get hired by one.

Greek by family, raised across the Middle East. Moved to the UK at 16, did my undergrad at the University of East Anglia, then a Master's at Durham. The standard plan was graduate, get a job. The plan didn't survive contact with the 2026 graduate market.

I started designing seriously at 19, picked it up alongside my undergrad. Brand work, identity systems, the kind of stuff the careers office isn't optimised for. So Arman and I stopped applying and started building. Kasdena is what came out of that decision.

I care about originality more than any other quality. If a client wants something that looks like everyone else's site, we're the wrong studio.

Most software is forgettable. That's the bug.

Born in Turkey. Started writing code as a teenager because I wanted to make things, not just use them. Came to Durham to take it seriously and walked into the same frozen graduate market.

Seva and I had been talking about building a studio for months. The market made the conversation easier. There wasn't a safer path to fall back on. We chose to ship instead of apply.

Most software is forgettable because it's templated, defensive, and sanded down. I want the opposite: products that earn their existence and survive past the demo.

(03) · What we build

Three lanes.
All custom.

(04) · How we work

Three rules.
Non-negotiable.

01

Creativity First

If a client wants something that looks like everyone else's site, we're the wrong studio.

02

No Templates

Most studios ship the same template five hundred times. We don't. Every project gets its own visual language and its own thinking.

03

Built from Scratch

No boilerplates we didn't write ourselves. Every line is a choice.
